Charlotte Bauer | Diary of a Semigrant: Cape Town's pawsome Museum of Dogs is a tail-wagging delight By Charlotte Bauer The last thing I expected when I visited Cape Town’s new Museum of Dogs was to exit through the gift shop clicking my heels and humming a pop tune.

I’d imagined the museum, which opened last month, to be full of doggy-types in anoraks covered in Labrador hair. I feared it would smell of kennels and there would only be dental sticks to eat at the café. Admittedly, I only went because it sounded so .

.. Cape Townish and, as a recently arrived Joburger, I’m on a mission to explore my differently-abled adopted hometown’s quirks wherever I find them.
