Mia le Roux emerged victorious in the business and fashion challenge on the latest episode of Crown Chasers. The next episode of Crown Chasers will focus on the finalists' resilience and health challenges.

Gqeberha's Nolene Spinks is the latest Crown Chaser participant to be eliminated from Miss SA's reality television competition. The challenge in the recent episode tested the contestants' business acumen and potential as brand ambassadors. They had to style a versatile wardrobe for a day in the life of the Miss South Africa title holder.

This challenge required the fourteen contestants to create, design, and develop a capsule collection and business strategy for Forever New. After her exit, 23-year-old Spink said: "Crown Chasers was an amazing experience. Besides being extremely tired, you are tested, and your limits are pushed daily.

You are forced to grow within a short amount of time and to deal with your innermost emotions. It is an experience that cannot be understood until you have personally experienced it." Despite her efforts, Spinks was eliminated at the end of the episode.

Mia le Roux emerged as the challenge winner. The episode featured resident judges Leandie du Randt, media personality Lerato Kganyago, and guest judge Londeka Buthelezi-Ndaba, the founder of Dream Fashion and fashion label Malondié. Reflecting on her journey, Spinks said, "The Miss South Africa journey was tough, but so worth it! It placed me into positions where I quickly had to adapt and grow as a person.

I am leaving a stronger version of myself, having learned how to navigate hard situations and the skills to reach my full potential in life." Nolene Spinks. (Supplied/SJ van Zyl).

When asked about the highlights and challenges of her Miss South Africa journey, Spinks emphasised the vast amount of growth she underwent. "The best thing about Crown Chasers was the personal growth. I am now equipped with the necessary skills to conduct myself as a serious individual with the potential to impact the field of my choice.

" Spinks said the most challenging part of the competition series was dealing with fatigue and pushing herself through that exhaustion. Looking back, Spinks said she has no regrets: "If God wants, I will enter again in the future, but not to correct what I did in 2024. I have no regrets about my journey.

Everything I did and said represents who I am and what makes me who I am. If I had to do it again, I would do it the same way." "I enjoyed designing our Forever New line and loved dressing the mannequins. I don't think I was voted out because I did something wrong. Ultimately, there is only one winner, and that is what we signed up for.

" As for her future, Spinks is looking forward to several exciting developments: "I am now planning my wedding, starting the business plan for my school of the arts, and pursuing my career in the Afrikaans music industry." Nolene Spinks. (Supplied/SJ van Zyl).

Spinks said she is grateful to her supporters, who have stood by her and cheered her on in her pursuit of the covenant crown. "Thank you for standing by me and believing in me. Know that your voice is heard, even if I didn't get the time to respond to your comments: you kept me going.

I might not be in the chase for the crown anymore, but I will continue to pursue my dreams, and I will reach them." The second-to-last episode of Crown Chasers will air on S3 on Saturday, 27 July, at 20:30, with media personality Andile Ncube as the guest judge. Ncube, who has 15 years in the entertainment industry, is the host of Sports Amplified on Metro FM and one of the hosts of Soccerzone.

The 13 finalists will embark on a challenge to test their resilience, endurance and mental strength in a celebration of health and wellness. The Miss South Africa 2024 winner and ultimate Crown Chaser will be crowned at Sun International's SunBet Arena at Time Square on 10 August.
