In the wake of Liam Payne ’s death last month , mourning fans gathered in his hometown of Wolverhampton to honour the late One Direction star with flowers and moving letters. However, just days before Sunday’s Remembrance Parade, the council moved the memorial from the city centre. Taking to X, the City of Wolverhampton stated: “Ahead of Sunday and Monday’s Remembrance services at the Cenotaph, the council has respectfully relocated the tributes left in memory of Liam Payne to the bandstand at West Park.

” They added: “People are welcome to leave any tributes to Liam at the memorial at the bandstand.” The official account also shared a photo of the “relocated” memorial which showed the floral tributes arranged into the shape of a heart on the bandstand.
