After a 15-year-long feud, Liam and Noel Gallagher have confirmed their Oasis reunion with 12 UK dates next year and two Dublin dates - telling fans: "The stars have aligned. The great wait is over." The announcement has almost broken the internet, with millions of fans across the globe sharing their disbelief that they will finally once again be able to hear the likes of Wonderwall and Live Forever live after Manchester-born brothers decided to end their bitter feud for the sake of the music.

The iconic 90s band will hit the road beginning in Cardiff and ending in Dublin and the gigs will form part of a world tour for Oasis, which is expected to earn the Gallaghers tens of millions of pounds. Liam and Noel posed in a new black and white photo together as the full details of their first shows in 16 years were announced at 8am. And in a joint statement on behalf of Oasis, the brothers said: “The guns have fallen silent.

The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see.

It will not be televised.” The OASIS LIVE 25 world tour will hit Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin in the summer of 2025 before heading to other venues outside Europe. The remainder of the band is yet to be confirmed, but it is thought Gem Archer who is friends with Noel and Liam could well be involved.

As the brothers prepare for the UK tour that everyone has been waiting for for almost two decades, it has been reported that both are set to make an eye-watering £400 million from the 12 tour dates - with potentially more being added due to huge demand. However, Noel has the upperhand, as his net worth is reportedly eight times that of his younger brother Liam. When rumours of a reunion first began to swirl earlier this year, it was claimed that Noel had agreed to reunite Oasis after being convinced by a £50M initial payday.

The Mirror then reported that Liam and Noel were having 'secret conversations' about the reunion ahead of the announcement. According to celebritynetworth.com , Noel, 57, is worth an estimated £53million.

That's compared to his younger brother Liam, 51, who is supposedly worth just £6million. Despite the huge difference, Noel's recent divorce from ex-wife Sara MacDonald may well have seen his net worth take a dent. Meanwhile, Liam was ordered to hand over half of his then £11m fortune in 2015 to his ex-wife Nicole Appleton after divorce proceedings.

Noel previously said in an interview: "I liked my mum until she gave birth to Liam". The iconic band was formed in 1991 and had eight number one singles including Don't Look Back In Anger and Some Might Say. Noel and Liam last performed live together in Paris in 2009.

When they were at their biggest they performed two legendary gigs at Knebworth to 250,000 fans. However, they split during a dressing room row in 2009, with the two going solo with their careers. After their split, Liam famously told Radio X: "I didn't leave Oasis, Noel Gallagher left Oasis.

"He couldn't handle the vibes anymore. He couldn't handle the rock 'n' roll. He was too scared of it.

So now he's gone all cosmic pop and Leo Sayer." Follow Mirror Celebs on TikTok , Snapchat , Instagram , Twitter , Facebook , YouTube and Threads ..
