Lexus commemorates its 35th anniversary at Monterey Car Week 2024 with a spectacular showcase at Pebble Beach, featuring the North American debuts of its future concept vehicles, the LF-ZC and LF-ZL. Set against the backdrop of Pebble Beach, the brand’s activation space features a retrospective of iconic vehicles, including the 1990 Lexus LS 400, alongside the North American debuts of its latest future concepts, the LF-ZC and LF-ZL.
Lexus Future Zero-Emission Concepts The LF-ZC (Lexus Future Zero-emission Catalyst) and LF-ZL (Lexus Future Zero-emission Luxury) concepts are at the forefront of Lexus’ vision for the future of luxury motoring. These next-generation battery electric vehicles (BEVs) embody the brand’s ambition to make luxury more personal through the integration of advanced technologies. Both models feature a fully digital, intelligent cockpit designed to enhance the driving experience by offering intuitive access to essential controls.
The concepts also preview the Arene Operating System (OS), which aims to provide a highly personalised driving experience by learning and anticipating the needs of each driver. Lexus LS 400 The event also serves as a nod to Lexus’ rich heritage, with a throwback to the original 1990 Lexus LS 400 commercial, famously featuring a pyramid of champagne glasses balanced on the hood while accelerating to 145 mph. This iconic moment highlighted the precision and refinement that have become synonymous with the Lexus brand.
Other Lexus Cars Visitors to the display can also explore a range of current Lexus models, from the GX 550 Luxury+ Malbon Concept to the high-performance RC F GT3. The Lexus Drive Experience, running from 17-19 August, offers guests the chance to test drive models such as the GX 550, IS 500, and LC 500 through the scenic Pebble Beach Resorts community. Capping off the weekend, Lexus will host a charity drawing on 18 August, benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Monterey County.
