The Formula 1 legend has been named one of the main people in charge of the 2025 installment of the major fashion event, staged before the annual opening of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's latest Costume Institute exhibit. Hamilton will be joined by actor Colman Domingo, musicians A$AP Rocky and Pharrell Williams and of course, fashion journalist (and Met Gala founder) Anna Wintour.

The event will celebrate the opening of an exhibit called A specific dress code for the 2025 Gala itself has not been announced, but the eventual choice should align with the exhibit's focus.
