Have a good laugh or cry. Then, I implore you to TAKE DOWN YOUR SIGNS! As a country, we can and should publicly debate the most pressing topics of our time as we participate in the public sphere. We can do this without signs, flags and semi-trailer broadsides polluting the natural beauty of our lovely countryside.
Also, enough with the vulgar flags and bumper stickers. Have some tact and consideration for others in our community. Please take down all the signs after the election.

..” Free speech is a vital part of our democracy.
But the community does not need you to keep an old candidate or past measure/initiative sign (think Line 3), up just to show us how you voted. I am sure some just do it out of spite. Haven’t we had enough negativity? Do something positive after the election by taking down the signs and replacing them with a tree or maybe flowers come springtime.
Doing this may help us rediscover our apparent .
