God’s true chosen ones (that is those persevering in faith and holiness) will never cease crying out to God for Christ’s return to destroy Satan’s power and the present evil world system. John 14:2; 1 Thes 5:2-3; 2 Thes 2:8; Rev 19:11-21) Continue Steadfastly In Prayer “Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.” (Col 4:2) Have you ever grown tired of praying for something or someone? Paul says we should “continue earnestly” in prayer and be “vigilant” in our prayers. Our vigilance is an expression of our faith that God answers our prayers.
Faith should not die even ifthe answers come slowly, for the delay may be God’s way of working his will in our lives. When you feel tired of praying. Know that God is present and always listening, always answering — maybe not in ways you had hoped, but in ways that he knows are best.
