Saturday, August 24, 2024 Lemon Tree Hotel expands its footprint in Madhya Pradesh, signing a new franchise in Shivpuri under the Keys Select brand, set to open by 2026. Lemon Tree Hotels has recently signed a franchise agreement for a new property under its Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels brand, located in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. This new venture signifies Lemon Tree’s continued expansion in the hospitality sector.

The company expects to open the Shivpuri hotel in the financial year 2026, further strengthening its presence in the Indian market. The upcoming hotel in Shivpuri will feature 50 well-appointed rooms, offering a blend of comfort and modern amenities. In addition to the rooms, the property will include a restaurant and a bar, catering to both leisure and business travelers.



Guests will also have access to a swimming pool and various public areas, making it a well-rounded destination for relaxation and social gatherings. Strategically located, the new hotel will provide easy accessibility for travelers. It is situated approximately 134 kilometers from the Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Airport in Gwalior, making it a convenient choice for visitors flying into the region.

Additionally, the hotel is just about 1 kilometer away from the Shivpuri Railway Station, ensuring ease of travel for those arriving by train. Well-connected roadways further enhance its accessibility for both public and private transportation. Lemon Tree Hotels currently boasts a portfolio of over 160 properties, including more than 110 operational hotels.

This extensive network is complemented by more than 60 additional hotels in the pipeline, set to open in India and internationally. The Shivpuri property will be a part of this expanding network, contributing to the brand’s growth strategy. In financial developments, Lemon Tree Hotels recently announced its fiscal first-quarter earnings for FY25.

The company reported a profit of Rs 19.81 crore, which reflects a 15.55 percent decline compared to the Rs 23.

46 crore profit posted in the first quarter of FY24. Despite this drop in profit, the company saw a positive trend in revenue from operations, which stood at Rs 268.02 crore in Q1FY25, marking a 19.

52 percent year-on-year increase. These developments underscore Lemon Tree Hotels’ commitment to growth and market expansion, both in India and internationally. The launch of the new hotel in Shivpuri aligns with the company’s strategic vision to enhance its brand presence and offer more choices to travelers, ultimately aiming to strengthen its position in the competitive hospitality industry.
