It is unknown what prompted the fan's ejection, but James was seen laughing and pointing at the fan, including making the gesture for him to be ejected in a mocking fashion. Whatever the situation was, it was serious enough for the game to be stopped as the fan was being ejected. The entire arena even booed the seemingly belligerent fan for holding up proceedings with his behavior. The Lakers were obviously in a good mood thanks to their lead over the Suns, but at the time of this writing, the Lakers have had their 9-point lead cut down and the scores being tied 99-99.
