The most anticipated aspect of Helldivers 2 all year long has been the arrival of the Illuminate. There have been numerous leaks leading up to their debut, and it always feels as though they are on the cusp of making their presence in the galaxy known. Now a new leak has revealed a Helldivers 2 “Special Event” that could possibly be teasing the Illuminate for the dozenth time.
Recent leaks for the Illuminate include a new set of missions along with a unique ensemble of weapons found through datamines. In addition, leaks dating back all the way to May provided a first-look at the faction , and it finally appears as though their debut is imminent thanks to files added en-masse in the latest Steam update. We still don’t know exactly when the Illuminate will finally join Helldivers 2, but it could possibly be part of a leaked “special event”.
Helldivers 2 “Special Event” leak possibly teases Illuminate Helldivers 2 leaker, Iron_S1ghts , has shared information about a “Special Event” that could be coming to HD2. According to the leaker, the event involves the planet, Klen Dahth II. This is a desert planet located within the Atlus sector, and it is currently under the control of the Super Earth Federation.
Per Iron_S1ghts, this event will result in a biome change. Not a lot of specifics are provided, but apparently a “large blue ringed planet” will appear, “illuminating the surface of the planet”. For a point-of-comparison, Iron_S1ghts claims “this event.
