Tuesday, August 27, 2024 Le Grand Hôtel Cayré and Borneta debut Miiro unique hotel collection, offering distinct experiences in Paris and Barcelona’s vibrant cultural hubs. InterGlobe Enterprises has recently unveiled Miiro, a new lifestyle hotel brand featuring a unique collection of individually designed hotels located in the heart of Europe’s most dynamic cities. Each Miiro hotel is deeply connected to its surrounding culture, history, and attractions, offering a distinct experience that reflects its locale.

The brand’s first properties, Le Grand Hôtel Cayré in Paris and Borneta in Barcelona, showcase Miiro’s dedication to redefining the standards of hospitality. Miiro, derived from the Latin word ‘miro,’ meaning ‘I wonder,’ is designed to inspire guests to pause, reflect, and savor every moment. This commitment to individuality is evident in every Miiro hotel, where no two properties are alike.

Each hotel is a true representation of its unique environment, drawing inspiration from the local neighborhood, community, and architectural style. Le Grand Hôtel Cayré, nestled in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés quarter, marks the revival of the historic Hôtel Cayré, once home to Parisian artists, writers, and intellectuals. Following a comprehensive renovation, the hotel embodies the refined elegance of its surroundings while honoring its rich creative history.

With 123 elegantly appointed rooms and suites that echo the charm of Parisian apartments, the hotel also features Annette, a classic French brasserie, and Officine Bac, an exclusive bar set to become a favorite among both guests and locals. The Borneta, located in the heart of the vibrant El Born neighborhood in Barcelona, captures the essence of the area’s artistic spirit and historic charm. The hotel offers 92 individually designed rooms and suites, inspired by the neighborhood’s warm tones and Barcelona’s rich color palette.

Guests can also enjoy Volta, a lively restaurant with an open-plan kitchen, and 180o, an exclusive rooftop cocktail bar with breathtaking views of downtown Barcelona. Miiro is set to expand its portfolio in 2025 with two new properties. Templeton Garden in London’s Earl’s Court will feature 156 rooms, complemented by a café-deli, a neighborhood restaurant, a vibrant bar, and an outdoor dining experience in a lush garden setting.

Additionally, Miiro will introduce two hotels in Vienna, strategically located and offering over 200 rooms, further establishing the brand’s presence in Europe. With more openings planned for 2026, Miiro is on track for significant growth. InterGlobe’s venture into the hospitality sector outside India began with the acquisition of hotel properties in key European cities, including London, Paris, Barcelona, Vienna, Hamburg, Gstaad, Amsterdam, Munich, Prague, and Budapest, along with a property in Melbourne.

The goal is to convert most of these properties under the Miiro brand while continuing to grow the brand with new properties and markets, with a strong focus on iconic locations and buildings as a cornerstone of its acquisition strategy..
