Ahead of his major role in the upcoming “Star Wars” series “Skeleton Crew,” Oscar nominee Jude Law has talked about another blockbuster franchise he’s involved with. That franchise? “Sherlock Holmes” which hasn’t had a new entry since 2011’s ‘Game of Shadows’. There’s been talk of doing a third one ever since, but the script and schedules never seemed to get into a good enough state.

Speaking with , Law has offered an update on the status of “Sherlock Holmes 3” and indicates a new script is done – though he has yet to read it: “The plan has been evolving over how many years it’s been now, probably nearly ten years. There’s a great will to make it, and a great will amongst us all to get it right to do it, to find the time, to find the right team. The one great thing I took from both of those films is my friendship with Robert [Downey Jr.
