LAW & Order announced that an ER alum will join the new season. The cast shakeup comes after two fan-favorite stars exited the series last season. NBC announced that Maura Tierney would return to the network and join Law & Order as a series regular for season 24.

Maura is famously known for her role on NBC's ER as Abby Lockhart. She was also a series regular in the TV series American Rust while additionally appearing in the 2024 hit film Twisters . With news about Maura joining the Law & Order franchise , fans are excited to welcome her to the upcoming season.
