The Fugees and Lauryn Hill quietly canceled their U.S. summer and fall tour dates without publicly declaring a reason.

The dates were removed from Ticketmaster, and fans who had already purchased tickets for their have been receiving notices about how to obtain refunds as of late Tuesday, according to . There has been no reason or explanation provided to fans, in spite of the fact that the first was just three days away. The legendary Wyclef Jean, Pras Michel and Lauryn Hill, who has also seen success as part of her solo career, founded the group. The nature of this cancelation is different than what fans are accustomed to seeing. The usual protocol involves social media announcements and updates that are broadcasted to fans, but in this particular instance, all parties have been silent.

Fans with tickets in hand have been sharing their experiences online, and some have posted screenshots of the they received from Live Nation. “Your event has been canceled. A refund will be on its way to your account soon,” the short message reads.

The tour was set to begin Friday in Tampa, Florida. Numerous dates have been affected, including the highly anticipated performance at the Hollywood Bowl previously scheduled for Sept. 17.

Shows scheduled to take place in New York and New Jersey at the tail end of September have also been called off, in addition to shows in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston and Milwaukee. A total of 18 American tour dates have been entirely wiped off the calendar, according to Variety. Fans can still purchase tickets for the overseas leg of the tour that starts Oct.
