Laura Marling has shared new song ‘No One’s Gonna Love You Like I Can’ – tune in now. The English songwriter’s new album ‘Patterns In Repeat’ is out on October 25th via Chrysalis/Partisan Records, a song cycle informed by responsibility, parenthood, and adjusting to profound shifts in your life. Almost entirely performed and recorded by Laura Marling, sessions took place at her home studio, with the results being co-produced by Dom Monks.

A moment of sombre, unashamed beauty, ‘No One’s Gonna Love You Like I Can’ is a song that looks at one of the most intimate bonds a person can have – a mother with her child. Driven forwards by aesthetic confidence, the song revels in maturity – now eight albums deep into her catalogue, Laura Marling seems to excel with each passing release. In her own words, ‘No One’s Gonna Love You Like I Can’ speaks to an album which hinges on “the drama of the domestic sphere, the frail threads that bind a family together, the good intentions we hold onto for our progeny and the many and various ways they get lost in time.

So much complexity in the banal, the caged, the everyday.” Tune in now. Photo Credit: Tamsin Topolski.
