" But in a candid chat with the Mirror , the star who has just signed a six-figure business deal opened up about the pressures she faced when their relationship broke down before the birth of Bonnie. "It can be seen, years ago, maybe not so much now but a single mum would feel embarrassed," she said. Laura went on to add: "I even felt that when I'd just had Bonnie, I felt I'd failed in a sense that I wasn't providing her with a two-parent household, she didn't ask to come into this world .
"It was mine and her dad's decision to bring her into this world. I just hoped that I could give her enough, it's a huge responsibility. The amount of amazing stories I've heard from women in their 50s and 60s that have grown-up children now and how they say how amazing their kids are.
" Laura recalled watching ITV's My Mum, Your Dad, and praising the children of the parents looking for love who may have been from a single-parent househ.
