Upon release, Behaviour Interactive’s previous DBD 8.1.0 update quickly gained notoriety in the community; instead of fixing issues, it added a few more, like the game-breaking endurance and .



However, the game’s dev team quickly remedied the situation by launching their 8.1.1 hotfix today, which addressed these problems.

Unfortunately, all is still not well. This latest patch also seems to have caused another issue to rear its ugly head, as a map generation bug is now causing players to fall out of bounds. Luckily, Behaviour has since addressed this latest glitch with a statement through the .

In it, they said, “We are aware of an issue affecting map generation and causing some players to fall out of bounds. We are working on an urgent fix that will be rolled out across platforms as soon as it becomes available, and we will provide updates as we go.” With this in mind, it may take a few days until this map bug is addressed, so you’ll have to remain patient for now.

It’s currently unclear what’s caused this latest problem to pop up. However, it only seems to affect a portion of the player base, so you should still be able to play through matches without a hitch. This also means you can enjoy the third Mount Ormond Resort map variation and Backwater Swamp maps, which the devs have re-enabled as part of the recently released DBD update.
