Lamborghini has taken the wraps off the new Huracan successor, called the Temerario. Here is everything you need to know. The Lamborghini Huracan was a legendary car but owing to new emission norms and an ending lifecycle there needed to be an update.

Lamborghini has taken the wraps off the Temerario which is the Huracan successor and even though it has big shoes to fill, the Temerario looks promising at the first glance. Lets talk about the important stuff first, powering the Temerario is a 4.0L bi-turbo V8 engine with a hot V setup which combined with the new hybrid electric motor is producing 907 bhp combined and 730 Nm of torque.

The flat-plane crank V8 engine will rev up to 10,000 rpms which means that it is going to be a screamer. There is a 3.8 kWh battery which powers the front axle giving it an e-AWD system.

All this is paired to an 8-speed dual clutch transmission. This means that it will do 0-100 kmph in a mere 2.7 seconds and flat out it will go 343 kmph.

All this performance and it weighs 1,690 kgs which is a few hundred kilos more than its predecessor but it is making a lot more power. On the outside, its striking, as a Lamborghini should be. The headlights modules are slim and there are hexagonal led DRLs in the lower bumper.

The shape remains quintessential supercar and as you move to the rear you are greeted with an aggressive looking vehicle with hexagonal taillights and a centrally mounted exhaust. The wheels are beautiful as usual measuring 20-inches at the front and 21-inches at the rear and one can opt for carbon fibre pieces too if they fancy. On the inside, the Temerario is updated, more in line with the recent Revuelto.

There is a new 12.3-inch digital drivers display and a new 8.4-inch vertically mounted infotainment screen as well.

For the passenger, there is a 9.1-inch display. Other features include a 360-degree camera and a Sonus Faber sound system.

There is more room on the inside as Lamborghini has worked to make the Temerario more practical. There are a total of 13 driving modes on the vehicle and there is a new Drift mode as well which allows you to have fun in a controlled manner and there are three settings to choose from. There are endless customization options for the Temerario as is for any Lamborghini sold on this planet.

We are sure that it is one fast car but does it carry the emotions of driving a Lamborghini remains to be seen. We await to get behind the wheel of one and see for ourselves if it really carries the legacy forward of supercars with the new hybrid powertrain..
