Lake Forest has come from the clouds to win the $10 million Golden Eagle at Rosehill Gardens on Saturday. The UK raider, with Cieren Fallon in the saddle, launched late to defeat French horse Lazzat while Tom Kitten finished third. “We are absolutely delighted with the horse,” Isabella Paul, stable rep for William Haggas, said.
”Cieren (Fallon) has ridden the most beautiful race and we used that explosive turn of foot and my god, that final 200 metres was so impressive.” Lake Forest takes home $5.25 million.
