Lady Gaga’s addition follows a viral sensation where fans combined her 2011 song Bloody Mary with a dance sequence by Jenna Ortega in the series, amassing over 518 million views on YouTube. Wednesday debuted on Netflix in November 2022, quickly becoming a cultural phenomenon. The series, which tracks Wednesday Addams’ adventures at Nevermore Academy, broke Nielsen streaming records multiple times.



Viewers watched as she navigated her emerging psychic abilities, tackled a monstrous killing spree, and unraveled a decades-old mystery. Given its success, Netflix greenlit a second season in January 2023, which began production in May 2024.
