Kyle Fletcher didn’t have the luxury of a top-tier wrestling school to kickstart his career . Instead, his path to professional wrestling was born out of backyard brawls on old mattresses, mimicking the high-flying stunts that the "Don’t try this at home" commercials of the 90s warned against. "I was probably 12 years old," Fletcher told Express U.S. Sports , his grin hinting at nostalgia.
"I'd drive past these guys wrestling on mattresses in their front yard, jumping off ladders, doing Batista Bombs . I just happened to run into them one day, and they invited me to wrestle with them. Through them, I met Robbie Eagles, who became my first pro trainer.
