Kunwar Amar may have gained immense after his stint in Anupamaa as Tapish, but how can one forget the way he charmed us first in Dance India Dance 2. He managed to reach the finale and stood in the fifth place. The season was won by Shakti Mohan.

Later on, they would go on to star in one of India's most popular youth-based dance TV show called Dil Dosti Dance. However, did you know that Kunwar Amar had also auditioned for DID 1 but was rejected? Well, in an exclusive interaction with Times Now/ Telly Talk India, he spills all the details and also reveals how someone tried to ruin his audition for DID 2. Kunwar Amar spills the beans Kunwar Amar told us, "I started off as a background dancer in dance crews.



Then I worked as a dance teacher just to show my dad that I am earning money. I took private classes too and sometimes they won't pay me but aap kya hi kar loge? Then I gave auditions for Dance India Dance 1 and got rejected. Bhot bura laga.

When season 2 was announced, I asked my father to give me one more chance to prove myself. I told him that if I fail this season too then I will quit and shape my career according to him. He agreed.

It was do or die for me. I decided to give my best and give my audition." Amar added, "Bhot kuch hua uss time.

There was someone with me who got eliminated aur usne mera rasta kharab karne ki poori koshish ki. They tried to sabotage me so that my audition goes bad. He put several blames on me due to jealousy and insecurity.
