Thursday, August 8, 2024 The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre has appointed Tiffany Chung as its new Director of Sales and Marketing, bringing over 20 years of industry experience to the role. Malaysia’s leading purpose-built venue, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), is excited to announce Tiffany Chung as its new Director of Sales and Marketing. In her new role, Tiffany will oversee the development and implementation of sales strategies, spearhead new product initiatives, drive business growth, manage revenue generation, lead marketing campaigns, and focus on talent development and management.

Tiffany brings over 20 years of experience in the business events industry to this position. Her most recent role was as Deputy Director of Sales at the Centre, where she excelled in driving business development, leading sales teams, and contributing significantly to the Centre’s growth. “We are thrilled to welcome Tiffany to the Centre’s leadership team,” said John Burke, General Manager of the Centre .



“Her extensive industry knowledge and proven leadership abilities make her an ideal fit for this role. With her track record of success and her in depth understanding our industry, company’s business and culture, we are confident in her ability to lead us through the next phase of our Centre.” Tiffany joined the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in 2013 as an Exhibition Floor Manager and later transitioned to the role of Exhibition Sales Manager.

In 2017, she was promoted to Head of Sales. Prior to her time at the Centre, Tiffany gained experience with the National Tech Association of Malaysia (PIKOM) and Reed Exhibitions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business and Marketing from Oxford Brookes University.

Tiffany Chung takes over from Ravindran Sathiamoorthy, who served as the Centre’s Director of Sales since 2020 and has retired after 18 incredible years with the venue. “Throughout Ravi’s tenure, which began with the Centre’s opening, he has played a pivotal role in the success of our convention centre. From his earlier roles within Finance and Administration through to his move to Sales and Marketing in 2018, Ravi has continually been driving business growth, and helping to create award-winning products.
