Thursday, August 22, 2024 Krungsri Auto partners with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to launch ‘Travel Buddy’ services on the GO app, enhancing the travel experience and supporting local tourism. Krungsri Auto, a top automotive finance provider affiliated with Bank of Ayudhya PCL., is partnering with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to enhance and broaden their travel ecosystem.

They are introducing new services and exclusive benefits through the GO Travel feature, establishing themselves as a ‘Travel Buddy’ for car users. This collaboration seeks to boost domestic tourism and encourage economic activity in local communities. The GO Travel feature from Krungsri Auto provides a suite of ‘Travel Buddy’ services, including details about tourist spots, 10 suggested travel itineraries through picturesque cities, a personalized journey planner that integrates Google Maps accessible via Apple CarPlay and Google CarPlay, hotel reservations through online travel agencies, and special offers on dining, drinking, and travel.



Additionally, it includes vehicle-specific services within the GO by Krungsri Auto App such as car maintenance, electric vehicle charging points, and daily updates on fuel prices. Since its inception in December, the GO Travel feature has attracted over 80,000 users and partnered with more than 100 entities in the travel and retail sectors, thereby injecting over 3 million baht into local economies. By 2024, Krungsri Auto aims to boost the average monthly users of the GO Travel feature to 200,000 by adding 30 new routes in captivating cities, introducing a Personalized Trip Advisor service that caters to individual preferences, and broadening partnerships with government bodies, public enterprises, the automotive sector, lifestyle brands, car rental firms, dealerships, tourism companies, and insurance providers to foster economic growth and shared value across various industries.
