KK died of cardiac arrest while performing at a concert at Kolkata's Nazrul Mancha Auditorium on May 31, 2022. The audience at the concert was nearly three times the total capacity of the auditorium. KK was sweating profusely and had even requested a drone to fly over his head so that he could get some air.
