Stretching alongside the calm currents of the Seomjingang River, through the verdant green tea fields, deep forests, and serene temples, Jirisan offers peace and solace to travelers, easing the fatigue of daily life. The Dulle-gil Trail traverses from Namwon in Jeollabuk-do to Hadong, Hamyang, and Sancheong in Gyeongsangnam-do, covering both the northern and southern slopes of Jirisan.

Each region along the trail offers a unique blend of nature and culture, showcasing the diverse charm of Jirisan. During the record-breaking heat this summer, Jirisan, one of Korea's most iconic mountains, provided a cool retreat with its grand peaks, deep forests, and fresh air. As autumn approaches with its cooling breeze, the lush greenery of Jirisan transforms into vibrant autumn colors, painting a new scene of wonder and comfort, like a living landscape.



The Jirisan Dulle-gil Trail, cradled by the grand mountain slopes, offers a warm and peaceful healing space, like being held in a “mother’s embrace.” The trail stretches over 117 kilometers (around 300 ri), winding from the Seomjingang riverside in the south to Hamyang and Sancheong in the north, providing a complete circuit around Jirisan to experience its natural beauty. The southern course of the Jirisan Dulle-gil follows the Seomjingang River.
