Wednesday, October 2, 2024 Korean Air is set to take part in the 2024 Korea Army International Defense Exhibition (KADEX), happening from October 2 to October 6 at the Gyeryongdae Airfield in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea. This event, organized by the Association of the Republic of Korea Army (AROKA), aims to connect South Korean defense manufacturers with both domestic and international buyers. The exhibition will host approximately 1,400 booths representing 365 companies.

At KADEX, Korean Air will highlight its military Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) capabilities and innovations in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), showcasing a selection of advanced aerospace technologies. Attendees can expect to see a full-scale model of the UH-60 “Black Hawk” military helicopter, as well as various unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Featured UAVs will include a medium-altitude platform, an AI-assisted UAV, and a small-scale strike UAV optimized for use with multiple launch rocket systems.



Additionally, the company will display different UAV platforms, such as a low-observable UAV squadron and a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) UAV. Since 1979, Korean Air has completed MRO on more than 5,000 military aircraft from the U.S.

and South Korea, solidifying its status as the largest military aircraft maintenance hub in the Asia-Pacific region. The company is currently expanding its efforts into the research and development of special launch vehicles and various unmanned a.
