The happy couple: Orla Wright and Paul Moloney, both from Kinsale and currently living in Ballinhassig, Cork. The reception: It took place in the amazing Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery, Cork. It’s a family hotel and they did amazing packages that suited our budget.
It’s also located in West Cork, which is our favourite part of the world, and not too far for our family and friends to travel to. The highlights: The whole day! Definitely walking up the aisle with my dad who turns 88 this year, I am blessed and honoured that this is still possible. Having our four children there was very special too as they were old enough to see and remember it all.
The unusual transport: The night before the wedding my transport broke down. My dad got to drive me to the church in his Massey Ferguson tractor instead, which was amazing as it’s what I had always wanted but nobody took me seriously! My brother Ger and my nephew Tommy had an early start that morning making sure it was cleaned and ready, I was so lucky and grateful to have them. Photography by James O’Driscoll Photography.
