Kim Kardashian has spoken out after Erik and Lyle Menendez received the news they will be resentenced . The Menendez brothers , who have been featured on a Netflix documentary, were sentenced to life in prison for the 1989 murders of their parents, Jose and Kitty. The Netflix series titled Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, caused discussion by viewers on whether they had been unfairly sentenced.

Lyle and Erik were sent to prison after a trial in 1996 when Lyle was 21 and Erik was 18 years old.
