The pair have had the ultimate revenge by topping the Melbourne radio ratings and are celebrating after a dark period. The duo's Melbourne breakfast show was axed last year to make way for Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson's big expansion into the city from Sydney .

Amid the competition, the Jase and Lauren Show, which now airs on rival network Nova FM , has been crowned Melbourne 's most listened to breakfast program. 'I was a mess the end of last year. You guys know what this industry is like,' Jase told The Project on Tuesday.



'To get a team where you get along so well and you're so proud of the product you are putting out, it is so rare in this industry. So, for me I was gutted. I felt like, we're just getting started.

' Lauren chimed in: 'I think we thought the fairytale for us was getting a second chance and going to Nova. 'Today is like a little cherry on top. We were pretty graceful in defeat.

The comedic chat show has taken home the coveted number one spot in the newly-released 5th radio ratings survey results for 2024 from GFK. Jase and Lauren's popular program gained 0.3 points and rose to 9.
