A pantry – or even a well-stocked and organized cabinet – is your kitchen’s fuel store. Ideally, you should be able to rustle up a quick meal from the contents, have piquant ingredients ready to spice up the plainest dish (hello, crispy onions and dried chilies), and be tidy enough to navigate easily. For me, getting your right is one of the most important aspects of a home, and it would appear that businesswoman and KUWTK star Khloe Kardashian shares the same sentiment.

Earlier this year, we spoke about -designed pantry's interior design, but here we explore how to replicate her exact organization method, so you can start that you'll cherish forever. A photo posted by on ‘Treat your like any other room in your home and consider the end result from an interior design perspective,’ says Jaime Frow, founder of Thoughtfully Organized Homes. Jaime suggests choosing a color palette as you would in any other space in the house, investing in lighting, or adding rows of baskets and bins, and carefully choosing kitchen countertops.

‘A functional and beautiful interior can make all the difference to the way you use your larder or pantry, as well as how it makes you feel when you open the doors,’ suggests William Durrant, owner of Herringbone kitchens. ‘Think shelves, drawers, cold shelves and a stone backsplash. Electrical outlets are a must, as both pantries and larders are ideal places to house a toaster or a coffee machine.

A photo posted by on Whether you have a pull-out larder or a walk-in pantry, organizing your pantry storage by decanting foodstuffs into coordinating containers will make your kitchen look more luxurious and create a sense of uniformity and tidiness. But ask yourself whether it’s a task you’ll be able to stay on top of when life gets busy. ‘Decanting into beautiful glass jars, similar to Kardashian's pantry, always looks picture-perfect on social media but isn’t always as neat in reality.

It’s an extra task after grocery shopping, so won’t suit everyone’s natural tendencies,’ says professional organizer Katherine Blackler, founder of SortMySpace. Design expertise in your inbox – from inspiring decorating ideas and beautiful celebrity homes to practical gardening advice and shopping round-ups. ‘Grains and pastas don’t always come in matching volume sizes so you will still need to have an overflow area for the opened packets.

And you should decide whether you always empty a jar fully before topping up to ensure you don’t leave very old produce at the bottom of the jar.’ If you wish to replicate Kardashian's space, look out for plenty of storage solutions that blend beautifully without their environment, but also work on a practical level too. ‘Baskets are a practical way to store vegetables and fruit, allowing air to circulate to keep them fresh.

They also add beautiful texture to your kitchen,’ says Simon Temprell, interior design lead at Neptune. Choose baskets to suit the depth of your shelves. Smaller baskets can be used as condiment carriers, bread baskets, shallow box trays for organizing spaces or utensils, or as a tote for drinking glasses.

‘They can be a lovely way to bring warmth to work surfaces,’ Simon adds. Below, we've sourced the majority of the items Kardashian used in her impressive space, along with similar alternatives, as recommended by experts. It is clear to see that Kardashian has a spectacular cereal selection, and as a serial cereal eater myself, I am in awe.

The Home Edit emptied the cereal from its original packaging and replaced it with these five-star rated OXO Good Grips 4.5 qt POP Cereal Dispensers. They are guaranteed to keep your dried produce fresher for longer.

The Home Edit transferred Kardashian's bulk snacks, baking ingredients, and grains into these delightful POP Canisters to keep them fresh and easily accessible. It was important that they used the same type of storage solution for a streamlined look. No one likes stale cookies! Instead of keeping all of the individually packaged snacks in bins, Kardashian chose to highlight them in the OXO Good Grips 5.

0 Qt POP Large Jar. They offer the same grab-and-go accessibility but without sacrificing serving size for children. The Lazy Susan is a brilliant creation – perfect for spice jars, bottles of sauce, and tinned items that need to be on regular rotation.

The Home Edit, the organizers behind Khloe Kardashian's space, used the for items like bottles of sauce, condiments, and spice jars. I can't express how much I adore a Lazy Susan. I would almost go as far as to say it is the best thing I've bought for my kitchen pantry.

This turntable design is perfect for my numerous bottles of olive, avocado and garlic oils. If you have a small or narrow kitchen, making the most of vertical storage will be a godsend for you, and that is exactly why you need stackable storage boxes. Use these to store pantry staples, such as pasta and dried goods.

I love this rattan storage basket they are so aesthetically pleasing. These baskets are also extremely sturdy and have double-sided handles, so it's easy to remove and replace them on the shelves. In Kardashian's pantry, similar ones have been used to store everything from snacks to tea.

If you are not a fan of rattan, wood is a good alternative. The wonder of timber is that it will never date, and it will suit just about any interior space. Sturdy and strong, these boxes can be stacked to save space.
