Akshay Kumar 's film ' Khel Khel Mein ' released in cinemas on Independence day and it saw a clash with ' Stree 2 ' and ' Vedaa '. This film which also stars Taapsee Pannu , Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal and Pragya Jaiswal, apart from Akshay, is targetted more towards the multiclass audience. Hence, it was meant to do business only in a certain bracket.

It is facing huge competition from 'Stree 2' which is roaring at the box office , yet, the film managed to make Rs 5 crore on Independence Day holiday. But post Independence day, on its first Friday, 'Khel Khel Mein' saw a huge drop. It made only Rs 1.

9 crore on its second day, which is Friday, according to Sacnilk. The film's total collection so far is Rs 6.95 crore.
