Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant has further diversified his extensive investment portfolio by acquiring a minority stake in Paris-Saint Germain (PSG), the reigning Ligue 1 champions. The move was first reported by French journalist Romain Molina. This investment in PSG, a club valued at approximately $4.

4 billion, marks another significant venture for Durant’s investment company, Thirty-Five Ventures. Named after Durant’s former NBA jersey number, Thirty-Five Ventures continues to strengthen its presence in the soccer world. Durant, who spent much of the summer in France, played a pivotal role in helping Team USA secure the men’s basketball gold medal at the Paris Olympics.

Initially coming off the bench, Durant was later promoted to the starting lineup for the championship game. During his time in France, Durant visited PSG's training campus and was impressed by the club’s facilities and the rich history of the organization. Reflecting on his experience, Durant said, “Yeah, just the history.

The love for sport. The love for art in general. The people make it what it is.

I get so much love every time I come here. I appreciate the sport and you know just a beautiful city to be in overall.” Founded in 2017 by Durant and his business partner Rich Kleinman, Thirty-Five Ventures has made over 1,000 investments in small businesses and more than 50 private companies, further establishing Durant as a savvy investor beyond the basketball court.
