I’ve been reading that Emmerdale star Sammy Winward is reported to have cut off her 19-year-old daughter Mia for doing OnlyFans. I think that’s so sad. Losing a relationship with your daughter isn’t worth it – and as an actress you’d think she’d be more understanding of the industry.
There’s no shame in doing OnlyFans. Don’t get me wrong, I’d have a meltdown if any of my kids started doing it. I’d be livid – but at the end of the day, they’re my babies and I could never stop contact.
It’s not worth it. This week the Strictly Come Dancing line-up was revealed. I haven’t met too many of this year’s celebrity contestants but I do know Pete Wicks and I think he could do really well on the show.
We did Celebs Go Dating and he’s a great laugh – he’ll have to go on a pub detox though! I remember Toyah Willcox from the 80s and she’ll be good too. I’m writing this week's column from my sun-lounger during our family holiday to Cyprus - Ryan and I are having such a great time with Max, DJ and Heidi. We’ve been staying at the Azia Resort and Spa and it’s so beautiful - the staff and facilities are amazing.
It’s an all-inclusive resort so we’ve been able to fully chill out and let the kids do their own thing around the pool. Although, I got really worried on a day out at the beach, because I couldn’t find DJ - she had gone off into the sea and I couldn’t see her. My mind straight away went to the worst, thinking she had been kidnapped or something awful.
When I found her bobbing along I was so relieved. It was only a few moments and thankfully all was OK, but I told her not to go off without telling an adult again. I’ve had the norovirus this week, which was awful timing.
It started just before we came out to Cyprus and my symptoms have been coming and going in waves. One minute I’m fine and the next I’m shaking and cold – it’s been happening on and off all week. At one point I was worried I wasn’t even going to be well enough to go on holiday and was packing everyone’s suitcases while shivering.
Hopefully I’ll be on the mend soon! Love Is Blind: UK has been released on Netflix and I’m really looking forward to watching it. I love the show and I love the hosts, Matt and Emma Willis even more. I think they’re a really good couple.
I’ve met Emma a few times and she’s always been so lovely. I have a lot of respect for her in the way she has stuck by Matt through his addictions - it’s not an easy thing to do and I think she sometimes doesn’t get much recognition for it. She reminds me of myself a little bit.
I think they’ll be great at hosting together too. Can you imagine if Ryan and I did something like that? I can’t see him being a presenter, but you never know, he could take my spotlight!.
