More info Former Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona has revealed that she is currently seeking therapy in order to deal with a lot of 'unresolved issues' that has resulted in feelings of 'anger'.

The 44 year old told OK! that she's realised she's never really address traumatic things that have happened in her life - such as her childhood, marriage to George Kay and other relationship troubles - but she's ready to become the best version of herself with the help of therapy. Kerry candidly explained: "With everything that’s been going on, for example with my mum and Ryan, it’s made me realise I have some unresolved issues from my past. It’s resulted in a lot of anger and maybe not dealing with situations at home as well as I should.

I wasn’t aware of how much I’d built things up, from my childhood to separations and death. "I don’t think I ever fully addressed my relationship with George especially , but I’m getting help. I’m looking into getting a good therapist.

I think it’s important for people to know it’s OK to ask for help. I’ve got so much resentment inside of me and it was spilling out on to my family. I’m trying to work on myself – me talking about my relationship is an example of that.

I used to pretend everything was fine with previous partners, but everything isn’t always perfect. I’m just trying to be a bett.
