Kenneth W. “Ken” Miller, 71 December 16, 1952 – August 23, 2024 GRAND ISLAND — Kenneth W. “Ken” Miller, 71, of Grand Island, passed away August 23, 2024, at Tiffany Square, with his family by his side.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at All Faiths Funeral Home.



Please wear Harley Davidson or Nebraska football attire in memory of Ken. A family graveside service will be at the Elwood Cemetery in St. Paul with Dan Naranjo officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Condolences can be left at www.giallfaiths.

com . Ken was born on December 16, 1952, in Grand Island, to William and Irene (Kremlacek) Miller. He graduated from Northwest High School in 1971.

Ken worked at Owl Auto Parts after graduation, then went to Case New Holland. He retired from Case New Holland after 35 years. He was united in marriage to Dawn Cordes on May 5, 1979.

They lived their life in Grand Island. Ken had a love for Harleys and eagles, and collected memorabilia. He enjoyed giving his children and grandchildren motorcycle rides.

Ken loved the beauty of the mountains and took trips with his wife to Estes Park, Colorado. He also spent time building model cars and doing jigsaw puzzles. Ken is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dawn Miller; a daughter, Valerie Galvan and fiancé, Daniel Stubblefield of Unionville, Missouri; a son, Brandon Miller of Laramie, Wyoming, and daughter, Jacqueline Leitschuck of Cairo, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Mikaela (Matt) Proehl, Braden Galvan, Elias Stubblefield, Johnathan Leitschuck, Alyssa Leitschuck (Dave Reeves), Wyatt Lee, Shaylee Miller, and Tashena Miller; his great-grandchildren, Noah, Addison and Knox Proehl, Jamie Reeves, Ashton and Brayden Byrd-Miller; three sisters, Nell (Jim) Ostermeier, Janet Redinger and Denise (Jim) O’Connor; four sisters-in-law, Ronnette (Alan) Schneider, Carmen Potratz, Deirdra (Kirk) French and Pam Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, William and Irene Miller; a brother, Doug Miller; his father- and mother-in-law, Richard and Virgie Cordes; his great grandparents, Emil and Ruth Kremlacek; and a brother-in-law, Tim Redinger.
