Keke Palmer and Law Roach may have different visions, but it’s “always love” between them. During Wednesday night’s panel discussion for his new book, “How to Build a Fashion Icon: Notes on Confidence from the World’s Only Image Architect,” which is now available, the self-proclaimed “Image Architect” recalled the time Palmer once said he was “not the best stylist for [her].” Even though their previous partnership “didn’t quite work out,” the pair reunited to collaborate on a look shortly after Palmer became pregnant with her first child .
“I’m like, ‘Oh, let’s show the baby bump,'” Roach, 46, told the room. “I’m bringing all these clothes and I could never get the clothes right. And one time she actually called me, she said, ‘You might be the best stylist in the world, but you’re not the best stylist for me.
’ I f–king loved it.” As the crowd erupted with laughter, Palmer, 31, interjected lovingly, “Law lives for a drag!” “I love it, I love it,” Roach agreed.”But she was right though because in my mind I had this idea of how I wanted to present her.
