SPEED queen Keely Hodgkinson basks in Olympic gold medal glory — as she races towards a £2million fortune. The 22-year-old star cruised to 800m victory in Paris as she bettered the silver she picked up in Tokyo three years ago. Fresh from achieving her Olympic dream, Hodgkinson was spotted sunning herself on a luxury yacht in Marbella and toasting her Paris victory with a glass of sangria.

She was seen soaking up the Spanish sun in an incredible see-through dress and stylish sunglasses. Hodgkinson then hopped on board a boat and stripped down to a green bikini. Meanwhile, experts reckon she should be getting used to the high life — with her endorsements and other earnings certain to rocket.

Brands guru Marcel Knobil, who has worked with Coca Cola and Yamaha, said: “Her estimated earnings prior to these Olympics were around £250,000 thanks to the likes of Nike and Omega. “Now, thanks to her exceptional talent, golden success and attractive personality and looks — Keely can look forward to earnings way beyond £2million next year alone.” Hodgkinson grew up in the former mining community of Atherton, Greater Manchester, but has hardly looked back since she stepped on to a running track.

It culminated in Olympic gold at the Stade de France in front of 70,000 fans on Monday. Although she had said she would treat herself to a gold Cartier ring and a Porsche, she had a family celebration in Marbella in mind immediately after her win.

She said: “My parents and me, what we’d love is just some quality time together. I don’t get to see them very often. That is enough for me to be honest.

” Keely had about 100 relatives wearing Team Keely T-shirt and cheering her on in Paris. A group of eight were with her in Marbella where they enjoyed jet skiing and relaxing on the yacht with a banner saying: “Congratulations on your gold medal Keely Hodgkinson.” Opening up on her plans as a gold medal winner, she said post-race: “I hope to have a party soon.

I haven’t been on a family holiday since 2019. “I don’t live at home any more. They have gone out to Marbella for a holiday so I’m going to go and join them and the rest of the family for a few days.

“I’m not really a cocktail drinker. I’m actually more of a rosé wine girl. “I will be on the beach at some point, having a nice glass of rosé with my medal on.
