The British 800m star, fresh from her podium success on Tuesday, has been enjoying a break to the Costa del Sol and has shared Instagram snaps of herself enjoying cocktails on a night out. Looking chic in an asymmetrical dress, the 22-year-old thanked The Clubhouse at La Sala, Puerto Banus, for its 'amazing hospitality' in a carousel of photos.

She styled her platinum blonde tresses in a sleek ponytail and opted for a rosy, blush-heavy make-up look to accentuate her sun-kissed glow. The Clubhouse, on its website, promises a 'premier competitive socialising experience'. 'Enjoy the ultimate venue for every live sporting event, where luxury meets excitement in Marbella.' Taking to her Instagram Stories, Keely shared a picture of herself readying to tuck into a colourful cocktail adorned with passionfruit, in congratulations to fellow Team GB star Georgia Bell - who last night won a bronze medal in the women's 1500m. It comes as yesterday, Keely celebrated in style with her family on a yacht off Spain ’s Costa del Sol.

Wearing a green string bikini and a white crochet-style cover-up, the 22-year-old swapped her running shoes for a pair of £860 green Louis Vuitton leather sliders. Her accessories came with an equally luxurious price tag - carrying an Ibiza Basket Bag by Balenciaga on her arm, which retails for £850, she also sported she a pair of £510 Chanel sunglasses. The athlete, who was a cover star for Elle magazine last month, has previously told how she follows a ‘look good, feel good’ mantra to give her an edge when she competes.

But her glamorous beach style last week - complete with the bright purple acrylic nails which were designed to complement the colour of the Paris track - suggests she is now applying the same focus to enjoying her well-deserved win. Keely was spotted in Puerto Banus, near Marbella, boarding a yacht organised for the star by hospitality brand La Sala Lifestyle. It bore a banner featuring the Olympic rings and a gold medal, with the well-meant if ungrammatical message: ‘Congratulating on your gold medal Keely Hodgkinson’.

The image of the athlete wearing a crown following her victory on Tuesday night is already being turned into a piece of art.

Artist Ben Mosley got to work on creating a portrait of the Stade de France moment using a photograph taken by Mail Sport’s Andy Hooper. For an interpretation of the victorious image from the front page of Tuesday’s Daily Mail , Mosley used acrylic paint on gold leaf worth thousands of pounds per kilo. ‘Wow! Is that really gold?’ said Hodgkinson, as she locked her eyes on the storyboard that is being worked on every day at Team GB ’s HQ in the Bois de Boulogne district of Paris.

She signed the masterpiece, before telling Mail Sport about her own artistic skills. ‘I was good at art at school, actually,’ said Hodgkinson. ‘I can draw.

If there’s something in front of me, I can copy it quite well and make it look realistic.'
