The Beyond Fest at the Egyptian Theatre was a night to remember as Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock reunited after three decades. Fans were treated to a special anniversary screening of the iconic 1994 blockbuster, Speed, in which the two stars shared screen space. Following the screening, the duo engaged in a 50-minute Q&A session, reminiscing about their unforgettable experiences while filming the Oscar-winning action classic.

During the event, Sandra Bullock, who portrayed Annie Porter in the film, reflected on her shooting experience. She said, “I was behind the wheel of a projectile, so I was just happy to be alive at the end of the day. I mean, I was new to the whole game so I wasn’t aware of what was happening or what felt right or what was not supposed to feel a certain way, but I was just, you’re just in it.

” Keanu Reeves, who played SWAT officer Jack Traven in Speed, was asked about the possibility of a third instalment. He responded, “I don’t know if we’re in an industry anymore that’s willing to tolerate it and be brave enough to do it. Maybe I could be wrong.

If he can’t make [what’s in his brain] for the audience, then he’s failed it felt like. I don’t know what we could do that would be good enough for the audience.” Written by Graham Yost, Speed follows the gripping tale of a Los Angeles police detective who becomes embroiled in a hostage crisis when the deranged man fills a bus with explosives.

The tension escalates when the bus drive.
