Television's beloved quiz show, " Kaun Banega Crorepati " Season 16, has consistently brought families together, with its intriguing gameplay and life-changing prize money . Contestants from diverse backgrounds have taken the iconic hot seat, fueled by dreams of fulfilling their parents' wishes, overcoming financial hardships , or realizing personal aspirations. These dreams drive their desire to win big.

Among these contestants is Jayanta Duley from Agai, West Bengal, who is determined to improve sanitation-led issues in his village by building a bathroom for his mother and sister, symbolizing his commitment to enhancing his family's living conditions. Jayanta, a 25-year-old from Agai, is a student and part-time tuition teacher who has come to Kaun Banega Crorepati with his sister, Shikha Duley. From the moment he won the Fastest Finger First, Jayanta was visibly overwhelmed and couldn't hold back his tears.

The moment was made even more special by the fact that he immediately went and hugged his sister to celebrate the win. His deep emotional connection to his family was evident when he shared his dream of building a bathroom for his mother and sister. In his village, due to financial constraints, many residents still bathe in a nearby river, which is used for various activities.

Jayanta wants to change this by raising awareness about the importance of sanitation. With the prize money, he hopes to lead by example and ensure that every home in his village has a bathroom, starting with his own house. Additionally, Jayanta aspires to become a teacher to help spread awareness about this issue, as he aims to transform himself from a "nobody" into a "somebody.

" Mr Bachchan also shared, “Jayanta, you are an inspiration to all.” Jayanta's determination impressed host Amitabh Bachchan , who acknowledged the seriousness of the issue and praised Jayanta for his dedication to improving hygiene in his village. "It's painful to hear that, in this day and age, your mother and sister still have to bathe in the open," Mr.

Bachchan said, offering his support to further the cause. He also shared, "Jayanta, you are an inspiration to all." Jayanta’s story is a powerful reminder of how dreams and determination bring about positive change, not just for oneself but for an entire community.

Reflecting on his experience, an overwhelmed Jayanta shared, “It pains me when I see my mother and sister who have no option, but to bathe in a nearby small pond which is also used for washing utensils, closes and even bathing the cattle. In my village, having a bathroom is seen as a luxury, not a necessity. I want to change this mindset and highlight the importance of hygiene.

Building a bathroom for the women in my own house for their personal hygiene is just the beginning. Kaun Banega Crorepati is more than a game for me, it’s a beacon of hope that will not only help me financially but will also provide the credibility, needed to inspire my village to recognize the value of proper hygiene. I am profoundly grateful for this opportunity, as it means a lot to me.

Apart from his goals, Jayanta also shared lighter moments with Mr Bachchan, discussing his love for cricket and his participation in his college's EDPL (Eastern District Premier League), where he is one of the most sought-after players. In a touching exchange, Mr. Bachchan shared a personal story about his own father’s advice regarding pursuing a teaching career, reminiscing about his school days and his struggles with physics.
