Katy Perry ’s latest single Lifetimes has missed the mark after completely failing to enter the Billboard Hot 100. Released on August 8, the song had just hours before the tracking week ended, which wasn't enough time to make an impact. Even after a full week of streaming and sales, Lifetimes couldn’t muster the numbers needed to hit the chart.

This comes after the former American Idol judge's previous single, Woman's World, entered the chart at an embarrassingly low position. Instead, the single landed at No. 15 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100, a 25-spot extension for songs that didn’t make the main list. This flop follows the underwhelming performance of her lead single Woman’s World , which debuted at No.

63 on the Hot 100 but only lasted one week. Now, even loyal fans of the longtime hitmaker are questioning whether 143 will be able to deliver at all. The track has already dropped off the U.S. Spotify chart and doesn’t appear on iTunes either.

Perry, once known for launching songs directly to No. 1, now faces an uphill battle to keep her latest project afloat as fans claim she is in her "flop era.".
