Katy Perry’s stylish sunglasses worn during her high-energy AFL Grand Final performance at the weekend were designed by a popular Perth-born fashion designer, it can be revealed. Fremantle-raised Poppy Lissiman is no stranger to having her designs adored by A-listers with Justin Bieber and Kylie Jenner having worn her accessories in the past. On Saturday, her Rossi Speedway sunglasses were spotted on US pop star Katy Perry during her performance at the AFL Grand Final pre-game show held at the MCG.

Lissiman’s statement sporty frames added flair to Perry’s space-age outfit for her dynamic performance, which took place in front of more than 100,000 people — one of her largest audiences since the 2015 Super Bowl halftime show. While belting out Dark Horse, she stripping off a flowing white dress to reveal a futuristic gladiator inspired breastplate, shorts and deconstructed combat pants. Perry’s 17-minute set included some of her biggest chart-topping hits, as well as two songs from her new album 143.
