Now, after the song and music video seem to have divided many , Perry is left reportedly scrambling to try and save her album and is trying to figure out a new plan to save her comeback.
Among the criticisms Perry has faced from the track are her decision to work with Dr. Luke , as well as the sexualized nature of the accompanying video. Now, with the single already flopped on the charts since its July 11 release, sources claim she is “freaking out” and demanding that her team helps her figure out how to save the album, but won’t take any blame.
