Katie Price shocked Loose Women viewers as she mocked a fellow panellist over them going to prison. A resurfaced clip from 2017 saw Katie coming to blows with Janet Street Porter as they had a debate over "luxury prisons" and Katie accused Janet of having done jail time herself. The panel were debating the topic as Katie turned to Janet and said: "Haven't you been in prison?" Janet then responded while the audience booed as she explained her past run-in with the law.

She said: "I haven't been in prison, I've been in a police cell. But this is like five star in comparison." Laughing at her comments, Katie then listened as Janet explained how she was arrested in the 1960s when her house was subjected to a drug raid by police.

The comments in retrospect seem ironic after Katie spent a night in police cells when she was arrested at Heathrow on Thursday after jetting back in from having a facelift abroad after she failed to attend bankruptcy proceedings. Katie jetted back to the UK from Turkey, after spending days with her boyfriend JJ Slater, 31, as she underwent a £10,000 facelift. The couple were also seen taking a joint trip to a dentist during their visit.

However, the smile was wiped from Katie's face as she was surrounded by police officers upon arriving at the airport. The 46-year-old former glamour model and mother of five had a warrant out for her arrest after skipped the bankruptcy hearing in favour of going abroad. On Friday, Katie appeared remotely at a hearing in a specialist bankruptcy court at the Rolls Building, hours after being detained.

A judge warned her "It is quite a serious matter", giving her another court date for later this month. He continued: “You have to attend that date, no ifs or buts, no going abroad, no holidays.” Following the warning, Katie returned to social media to break her silence on the matter.

After her hearing yesterday, Price reposted a supportive message from Jedward on Instagram . The post called on people to 'be kind' after the mum faced a barrage of criticism for her antics. It said: "Everyone please be kind to Katie Price .

It’s a delicate situation and she deserves support and love. Please be sensitive, she’s a human and mum with a massive heart and deserves respect. Sending strength to her kids and family.

’ Podcaster Katie also published a second post from the X Factor stars which read: "A true icon that has been through a lot we all need to lift her up in this fragile time! No one else could deal with the pressure and scrutiny! Let’s all surround Katie with Love.".
