Popular culture's embrace of phenomena like Barbie and Taylor Swift's Eras Tour brought the celebration of girls and girlhood to the forefront. The movement was reflected in interior design through the increased popularity of pink and feminine motifs throughout the home.
The trend is still going strong. Now, Kathy Hilton is bringing the girlhood movement to Christmas decor. The iconic Real Housewife of Beverly Hills took to Instagram to share a snap of her faux pink Christmas tree with the caption, 'It’s starting to look a lot like Pinkmas!.
' Her pink tree is piled high with pink and silver ornaments and white Christmas lights. It's wrapped with a fuzzy white garland and topped with a pile of pink, silky ribbons. The white faux fur base cover grounds the entire look.
Hilton's matching Alice and Olivia outfit is just a bonus. Looking at the tree, I'm immediately filled with joy. As a lifelong 'girly girl,' it feels exciting to see those tastes being celebrated and uplifted rather than put down as unserious.
