RTÉ star Kathryn Thomas has shared a series of gorgeous snaps to mark a very special day. The Carlow woman was celebrating her fifth wedding anniversary to husband Padraig McLoughlin. The couple, who first met in 2013 , got married in Kilkea Castle near her hometown in 2019.
They tied the knot just 17 months after the birth of their first child, Ellie. The couple first met met in O’Donoghue’s on Baggot Street over a decade ago. Kathryn previously told VIP Magazine: ‘Going to Vegas and London and here, there and everywhere and then you meet someone ordering a pint in O’Donoghues on Baggot Street.
Padraig would later pop the question in November 2016 in Ballyfin, Co Laois. They went on to have another daughter Grace in October 2021. Kathryn took to Instagram over the weekend to pay tribute to her husband on what was their fifth wedding anniversary.
The Rose of Tralee host shared a series of pics of her special day, taken at the time by Shane O’Neill of Aspect Photography . The first snap showed Kathryn and Padraig standing at the altar with their first-born Ellie. The Operation Transformation presenter looked stunning in a low-backed gown by designer Helen Cody, which she matched with a stunning headpiece.
