Kate Middleton "saved" Prince William after his "dysfunctional" childhood and has dedicated her life to making him happy, according to a royal expert. Their love story started when they were both students at St Andrews University in Scotland. They started off as friends before romance blossomed and have now been married for more than a decade and are proud parents to three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Royal author Angela Levin reflected on their relationship as she said: "I think that Kate has helped save William. I think it was very difficult for him coming out of a dysfunctional family, losing his mum so young and I think he was in a very difficult place."
