Monday, August 26, 2024 In an event organized by the Maaji Deedar Group, a holistic friendship initiative of the Iconic Tour Operators of Kashmir (ITOK), several distinguished personalities and unsung heroes were honored for their significant contributions to the tourism sector in Kashmir. The inaugural function took place at the RAMADA Encore, where the event centered on the critical issue of protecting and preserving natural resources, a topic that has a profound impact on the future of Kashmir’s tourism industry. The event, which was spearheaded by Chief Patron Showkat Ahmad Pakhtoon, brought together some of the most influential figures in the region’s tourism sector.

Among those present were Javed Tenga, President of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCC&I); Mushtaq Chaya, Chairman of the J&K Hoteliers Club; Gowhar Maqbool, President of KHARA & KHAROF Combine; and Manzoor Wangnoo, Chairman of NTTA & NLCO.
